Italian Rum Cake

Cake was well done to my request. Everything tasted fresh, though the chocolate custard layer lacked good flavour. I am an Italian kid from College street Little Italy and grew up with these tastes and have had desserts from travels and my own baking as experience. My favourite approach is to have a cake that is "booze-y" like a good Baba or that peach shaped dessert pastry and plenty of custard.

I've been coming to Tre mari for well over 30 years. The italian cake has been one of my favorites for so many years, I buy this cake for every occasion. It's always done right, and very delicious. Even tho I live an hour and a half now..I still make my way down to Tre Mari!

I ordered this cake for my mom’s 86th birthday. It’s my favourite and it did not disappoint. It was fresh and the taste was amazing. Everyone loved it. Every birthday we have with my mom is special so we make sure we only get the best!!
